Thank you for staying late to help us wrap up! Your support ensures the venue is returned to its original state and helps us maintain a great relationship with our community partners.
Shift Time: 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Check-in: Meet at the main entrance check in table at 9:55 PM.
Point of Contact: Look for the lead organizers with the “Prom Committee” name tags on.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
Decor & Personal Items
Carefully take down photo backdrops.
Collect any lost and found items (phones, bags, jewelry) and bring them to the designated “Lost & Found” bin.
Pack up center piece items or reusable props.
Waste & Surfaces
Clear tables of any leftover food, cups, or napkins.
Empty trash bins into the main dumpster (if applicable).
Wipe down high-touch surfaces and any spills on the dance floor.
Furniture & Equipment
Stack chairs according to the venue’s requirements.
Help move lightweight tables to their original storage positions.
Pro-Tips for a Fast Finish
Safety First: Please do not lift heavy furniture alone; always ask for a “buddy lift.”
Sustainability: Keep an eye out for recyclables (cans/bottles) and place them in the bins provided.
The “Sweep”: Before you head out, do a final walkthrough of the bathrooms and entrance to ensure no glitter or trash was left behind.
We appreciate you! Once the lead gives the “all clear” at 11:00 PM, please make sure you get home safely.

If you have the energy to keep the party going or want to see the event from a different perspective, we’d love to have you for multiple shifts!
Whether you want to start early with the 4 PM – 6 PM crew and stay for the 10 PM cleanup, or mix and match different stations, the more the merrier.

- Stay Flexible: If you’re already on-site and realize you’re not ready for the night to end, check in with the Volunteer Lead at the check-in desk to see if we can plug you in for an extra hour!
