National Black HIV/AIDS Day

February 7

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) is observed annually on February 7th to highlight the significant, disproportionate impact of HIV on Black communities in the U.S., focusing on increasing HIV education, testing, prevention (like PrEP), and treatment access while fighting stigma and promoting resilience. It serves as a critical call to action during Black History Month to unite and end the epidemic through empowerment and community involvement, encouraging everyone to know their status and support affected individuals.
