National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
March 20

National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD) is observed annually on March 20 (the first day of spring) to promote HIV testing, prevention, and treatment within American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. First held in 2007, this initiative aims to reduce stigma, honor those affected, and address disproportionate infection rates through culturally appropriate, community-led action.
